The Henderson, a Salamander Beach & Spa Resort, located in Destin, Florida will offer new family-friendly accommodations called the Lofts.
The new units enhance the existing resort, which opened in 2016 on 200 acres of coastal nature preserve on the Emerald Coast, and are located next door to the hotel in a four-story building with underground parking.
The design of the Lofts mirrors that of the Henderson itself, capturing the natural backdrop of the region and providing a coastal vibe with striking shingles, gabled rooflines, and touches of Florida's nautical history.
The Lofts are made up of 36 one- and two-bedroom villa-style rooms that overlook the resort's pools and white-sand beach. Units start with up to 700 square feet of space and are as large as 1,280 square feet. Each one has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, Smart televisions and washers, and dryers. Some units offer balconies.
Guests staying in the Lofts have priority access to resort amenities, including the Salamander Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, Gulf-to-table cuisine at Primrose Restaurant, two pools with a lazy river and private beach access.
Loft residents also have access to valet parking and receive passes to Henderson Beach State Park as well as access to beach cruisers, storage for golf bags, concierge shuttle service, Wi-Fi, daily turndown service, housekeeping and more.
The Lofts start at $245 per night or $1,700 per week. The resort is currently offering a special introductory rate with 25 percent off weekly stays, bookable through April 11 and available for travel through the end of the year. Blackout dates apply.
