The Hyatt Ziva Cancun, part of the Playa Hotels & Resorts family, is typically an all-inclusive all-ages resort on Mexico’s Yucatan coast. But sometimes adults just want to be treated like adults. As a result, Hyatt Ziva Cancun has created an adults-only experience called Turquoize.
There are 547 luxury suites for all-ages at the resort, but now the resort offers Turquoize, which are adults-only guestrooms of 695 square feet that come with all of the regular features, such as Caribbean decor, hand crafted furnishings and picturesque views of the blue sea.
The rooms include spa-like bathrooms with rainfall showers, turndown service, high-tech entertainment, and complimentary refreshment centers with soft drinks and premium beer and liquors.
Guests have access to Hyatt Ziva Cancun restaurants for dinner starting at 6 p.m. in the adults-only tower. The rooms also come with a private balcony – with an amazing ocean view – and hot tub while others have direct access to one of the resort’s three infinity pools. The resort also includes an adults-only rooftop pool and two beaches for more fun.
For meals, there are 14 restaurants and bars, international buffets and food carts to choose from. Enjoy a romantic French meal at the adults-only Bastille's, a candlelight dinner on a private pier on the beach, and brew your own artisan beer at Tres Cerveza's or sip a signature cocktail while you admire the rooftop panoramic views.
There are plenty of activities to keep the grown-ups busy, including swimming, snorkeling and diving in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. There are myriad of other activities on the resort, including beach volleyball, tennis and bicycling.

For some relaxing down time, Hyatt Ziva Cancun has a wellness spa where adults can enjoy some much-needed pampering. The Spa at Hyatt Ziva Cancun is an eco-holistic, Mayan-inspired sanctuary with 13 treatment rooms and 6 palapas on the beach. Grownups choose from massage treatments and body rituals, a whirlpool tub, steam room, sauna, and a cold plunge pool. Have a relaxing massage while you’re listening to a waterfall.
Although kids enjoy it too, couples can also experience and swim with dolphins, go zip lining and sailing. When the sun goes down, the adults are just getting ready to start having some fun. Add in some live entertainment, tequila samples and all night dancing and it’s a great recipe for adult-only entertainment.
Adults who have found their soulmates can also enjoy a sky-view wedding venue and wedding gazebo on the point of the peninsula for that special once-in-a-lifetime moment in their lives.
