Westin Hotels & Resorts continues to expand its wellbeing movement, recently announcing the launch of its new "Sleep Well" menu.
The menu, which is currently available round-the-clock at Westin properties around the world, comprises ingredients and meals designed to promote a restful nights' sleep, which is one of Westin's six pillars of wellbeing.
The Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide brand partnered with SuperFoodsRx, whose experts made recommendations for the menu.
While there are many options to choose from, most share a common theme in that they boast amino acids, vitamins and minerals that encourage quality rest and recovery.
"Essential elements like tryptophan, magnesium, potassium, folate, serotonin and thiamin work together to prevent insomnia and reset sleep cycles, giving guests the chance to feel refreshed and energized in the morning," said SuperFoodsRx managing partner David Stern in a statement.
Menu items include grilled wild salmon with walnut quinoa and a micro chopped turkey salad, among others, while bedtime snacks include, but aren't limited to, whole grain crackers with peanut butter and non-fat yogurt with granola.

Guests will also have several different flavors of tea to choose from.
Westin's new Sleep Well menu arrives one month after the brand announced a partnership with FitStar by Fitbit that allows guests to access customizable fitness programs to help them stay active while traveling.
In celebration of Friday's announcement, which coincided with World Sleep Day 2016, Westin has also rolled out a sweepstakes that will provide entrants with a chance to win a free five-night stay and other Westin prizes.
