If you can get past the sticker shock, spending $10,000 on a room seems like a brilliant idea.

The Sanchaya, located in Bintan Island, Indonesia, boasts a luxurious accommodation called the Vanda Villa that runs $10,000 a night.

Before we get into what you get for that extraordinary amount, we’d like to make note that we were previously fine with free continental breakfasts as part of our room rate. Before we ever saw what giants of industry get for their money, we were perfectly fine with amenities now relegated to the land of ho-hum.

You too will experience a change in expectations as you hear that those who dump a truck-bed full of money onto the property get their very own butler and dedicated chef. That should make the ordering and devouring of your peanut butter and jelly sandwich all the more enjoyable.

Oh, and you get a pool. And it’s not just any pool. It’s an infinity pool, which means all of your wildest dreams are included within the depths of a pool that has no bounds. (Or, it just means this pool is positioned in a really clever way.)

Regardless, you need to look at this marvel of accommodations.

Please, try not to drool.

The Sanchaya’s estate manager Anshuman Narayan knows that $10,000 is a lot of money. However, there are some luxuries that really do demand a devil-may-care attitude.

Narayan offers, via press release, “Seems like a lot to pay for one night, I know. But when money is no object, and you’re shopping for a memory to last a lifetime, the cost may very well turn out to be a bigger bargain than you’d thought.”

The villa is a two-story testament to good taste and includes four bedrooms, each replete with the kind of style and bath wonderment that you would expect for ten large a night.

But if a good book and a swim into infinity and beyond just aren’t cutting it, you can also request various experiences on offer such as a wine and cheese tastings with a sommelier. Make sure to ask what cheddar goes best with Charles Shaw.

And there is even an in-villa massage or yoga instruction you can order, which begs the question of why anyone would ever step foot off the property.

If you aren’t fortunate enough to procure this villa, The Sanchaya also promises lavish accommodations in 21 villas and nine suites.

Although, then you'd probably have to bring your own PB&J fixings.
