All-inclusive resorts have evolved over the last decade or so to become even more inclusive of all types of travelers — from those looking for a deal to people looking for high-end luxury and romance.
“With all your meals and activities at the ready, you can tune out distractions and tune in to each other,” writes Stephanie Orma for Conde Nast Traveler.
Your options are no longer limited to the Caribbean and Mexico. From mountain retreats to island luxury, all-inclusive plans are cropping up everywhere, and Conde Nast has put together some of the best all-inclusives for romance.
Check into the Chiva-Som in Hua Hin Thailand.
“Thai kings chose Hua Hin for their summer palace, and not far away, within seven acres of banyan-filled gardens, this beachfront resort makes everyday couples feel like royalty,” writes Orma.
Couples Sans Souci in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, is an option that will keep you closer to home but no less exotic in feel.
“There are coral reefs to explore, balcony hammocks for dozing off to the sound of the waves, and fantastic sizzling jerk chicken at the resort’s beachside Bella Vista restaurant,” says Orma.
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is an easy getaway for couples and it doesn’t skimp on luxury.
“Expect your own beach bed, candlelit beachside dinners, and wellness classes to set the lazy agenda,” she says.
