Where to Find the World's Most Luxurious Hotel Bathrooms

Rainshowers and double sinks? That’s so 20 years ago. Now, to make Conde Nast Traveler’s list of world’s most luxurious hotel bathrooms, hotels are going to need to have onyx tiles and tubs that overlook the ocean.

One example: The Pacific Suite at the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Calif., where your luxe retreat is “carved into the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean.”

But by far one of the most luxurious bathrooms is found in Florence, Italy.

“A work of art in itself, this freestanding tub of ancient Roman stone isn't even the most eye-catching feature of Il Salviatino's Affresco Suite bathroom: As you recline for a soak, you'll be staring at a fresco created by Italian painter Domenico Bruschi in 1886,” writes Michael Kaminer in his  description of the experience.

Here is the list of where to experience the best of the world’s bathrooms.
