Few things go together as well as beautiful weather, time off and music. It's why the summer season is synonymous with festival season.

With Memorial Day and the unofficial start of summer just one month away, travelers all across the globe are making plans to get away for a few days, experience a new destination and immerse themselves in local music.

Whether it's a month-long celebration in Europe or a four-day festival in the Caribbean, there's no shortage of experiences to be had this upcoming summer. Perhaps the only thing harder than chosing which festival to attend is finding the right accommodations.

Here are five hotels poised to become travelers' festival headquarters this summer.

Lucca Summer Festival

Where: Lucca, Italy

When: July 2016

Where to Stay: Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa

This month-long music festival takes place in the historic part of Lucca in Italy's Piazza Napoleone.

Those looking to stick around for a bit will want to make a reservation at the Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa. Not only have we highlighted this resort on TravelPulse in the past, but it's offering a Lucca Summer Festival 2016 Package ahead of July's events.

The package includes accommodations for two and daily breakfast as well as a pair of one-day tickets to the festival and transportation to and from.

Rake and Scrape Festival

Where: Cat Island, Bahamas

When: June 2-5, 2016

Where to Stay: Pigeon Cay Beach Club

Every June, locals and foreigners alike descend on Cat Island in the Bahamas for an annual musical celebration known as the Rake and Scrape Festival.

Located on Cat Island, Pigeon Cay Beach Club features an unbeatable locale along the water as well as a lengthy list of amenities ranging from massages to child care. With only 11 rooms, it doesn't get much more relaxing than this 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence winner.

Viva La Musica Latina

Where: Curacao

When: June 3-4, 2016

Where to Stay: Hilton Curacao

As if travelers need a reason to visit Curacao this summer, an exciting lineup of musical acts are scheduled to perform over the course of two days at Viva La Musica Latina this June.

For visitors who plan on attending, the Hilton Curacao is the perfect place to stay. Located just minutes away from the festival on the Piscadera Bay, this hotel boasts not one, but a pair of private white sand beaches, an infinity pool and a handful of other luxury amenities.

The views from the rooms are tremendous and guests are unlikely to run out of things to do with scuba diving, snorkeling, sight seeing tours and other activities being offered.

Inti Raymi Festival

Where: Cusco, Peru

When: June 24, 2016

Where to Stay: JW Marriott El Convento Cusco

South America's second-largest festival, Peru's Inti Raymi Festival is a nine-day celebration amid the winter solstice paying tribute to the Incan god of the sun (Inti). Festival-goers eyeing the best experience will want to reserve a room at the JW Marriott El Convento Cusco. The five-star hotel is conveniently located just a couple of blocks from the heart of the action in Main Square and was once a 16th century convent.

What's more, festival weekend rates start at just $280 per night.

Crop Over Festival

Where: Barbados

When: August 2016

Where to Stay: Crystal Cove Hotel

Barbados' Crop Over Festival celebrates the conclusion of a successful harvest season and typically runs all summer long with parties beginning in June and the celebration continuing into August with the Grand Kadooment carnival.

Plus, you never know which stars will show up. Last year, pop superstar and Barbados native Rihanna even made an appearance.

If the carnival is in your plans this year, the Crystal Cove Hotel is where you'll want to stay. Boasting stellar views of Barbados' platinum west coast, a Kids Club and a pair of on-site restaurants and bars, this all-inclusive property was recently inducted into TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame, having won the coveted award in each of the past five years.
