The world's largest Hooters is coming to Las Vegas in 2015.
The polarizing restaurant chain, which already boasts a trio of locations within the city, announced this month that a new location is set to open at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas this next month.
"There’s a 'go big or go home' mentality when you’re in Vegas, and Hooters is ready to 'go big' with our largest location in the world inside Palms Casino Resort," said Mark Whittle, senior vice president of global development, Hooters of America, in a statement last week. "Just steps away from the illustrious Palms Pool cabanas, this location fits perfectly with the beach oasis atmosphere for which Hooters is well known around the globe."
Just how big will it be?
More than 15,200 square feet. Adding to the excitement and the allure, the venue will be located alongside the Palms Pool and will seat as many as 500 guests at a time. The poolside bar is set to open in early May, with the two-story dining room inside the Palms Casino Resort scheduled to open shortly after.
Palms president and CEO Todd Greenberg called Hooters "a great addition to Palms' award winning restaurants and entertainment venues," adding that "Hooter's casual and fun menu combined with its playful and high-energy vibe will be the perfect place to catch a game or enjoy the action at Palms Pool."
Once open, customers can expect to find their favorite traditional menu items as well as dozens of televisions.
The new location is certain to complement the Palms' already popular "Ditch Fridays" weekly pool parties, which are set to return to the resort on May 1. The weekly event is open to any hotel guests ages 21 and up with a valid room key.
While the new Hooters will be stand out as the world's largest, it remains to be seen whether its arrival will draw more travelers to the Palms Casino Resort.
