Redwood City resident Rodolf Vjerdha, 59, was taken into custody after a passenger who rode in his vehicle early Saturday morning told police about the incident, ABC said.

When ordering the ride, the victim chose the Uber Pool option, which lets passengers share the price of a ride, ABC said. When Vjerdha picked up the passenger, he told her to sit in the front seat so other passengers could sit in the back of the vehicle.

The victim said as soon as she sat in the front seat, Vjerdha locked the doors, and began touching and kissing her, Palo Alto Police Department Sgt. Rod Tuason told ABC.

Meanwhile, another Uber driver was arrested in Chicago after he was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Police found marijuana and a loaded weapon in 41-year-old Chad Pilcher’s car, authorities told the Tribune. Bail was set at $100,000.
