On Monday night, authorities announced an investigation into an American Airlines flight which received an anonymous threat during a flight from London to Chicago.

According to the Chicago Tribune, American Airlines Flight 91 was en route from Heathrow Airport in London to O’Hare International Airport in Chicago when the plane received a “non-credible threat” when it arrived in the United States.

Chicago police spokeswoman Officer Michelle Tannehill said authorities responded to the threat at around 7:40 p.m. local time. The plane was safely evacuated of the 250 passengers onboard at the time and there were no reported injuries.

Investigators thoroughly searched the American Airlines plane, and the airline is working with Chicago law enforcement and the FBI on the incident. Authorities announced no one had been taken into custody for the threat and no other information was available.
