David Price Upset Dog Not Allowed to Travel on Delta Flight

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price is never too far away from his dog named Astro, but transporting the pet to Boston has proven to be more difficult than expected.
On Saturday, Price took to Twitter to share his disappointment that Delta Air Lines’ pet policy would not allow him to fly with his French bulldog, as the company does not allow certain breeds of dogs on its flights.
The official Delta pet policy restricts “snub- or pug-nosed dogs” from being transported by the airline. While Price may not like the policy, the official website of Delta Air Lines spells out the rules and regulations clearly.
Price shared his dog situation on Twitter, followed by a response from Red Sox mascot Wally who offered to drive Astro from Price’s home to Boston:
Astro was a big part of Price’s time with the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Red Sox have embraced the dog as one of their own. The Boston franchise has even started using the French bulldog as part of promotion for the team on Twitter:
