United States Presidential candidate Donald Trump and his private airplane were forced to make an emergency landing Wednesday in Nashville when the aircraft reportedly suffered engine problems.
According to Julia Jacobo of ABC News, Trump's private Boeing 757 was en route to Little Rock, Arkansas, to attend a presidential event when mechanical issues forced the pilot to divert the plane to Nashville International Airport.

Officials from the Federal Aviation Administration reported that the aircraft, its passengers and the flight crew landed safely in Tennessee at around 4:40 p.m. local time on Wednesday. The FAA also announced that it would formally investigate the incident.

After landing, Trump was transported to an event at Barton Coliseum in Little Rock where he spoke in front of 11,500 people. When speaking about the incident to supporters, the Presidential candidate said there was no way he would miss the event and that he loved Arkansas.
