On Tuesday, it was announced that a group of female pilots working for Frontier Airlines is fighting to change the company's policies on maternity leave and pumping breast milk.
According to The Associated Press, the American Civil Liberties Union filed discrimination charges with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on behalf of four female Frontier pilots.
The women are accusing the airline of failing to offer paid maternity leave or job reassignment for pilots who become pregnant. In addition, the discrimination charges say that Frontier doesn't provide a convenient, private place for mothers to pump breast milk at work.
The American Civil Liberties Union says the four female pilots have dealt with unequal treatment on the basis of sex in the workplace, and the discrimination has resulted in the mothers and mothers-to-be suffering financial harm, pain and illness.
When asked for a comment by The AP, Frontier did not immediately respond.
