JetBlue Network Shutdown Grounds Flights

UPDATE, 2:55 p.m. ET Jan. 14: Flight booking is now back up and running on JetBlue.com, according to a Tweet from JetBlue, embedded below.

American low-cost airline carrier JetBlue is currently experiencing problems with its network, shutting down the company's website and grounding flights Thursday afternoon.

According to NBC Los Angeles, JetBlue flights have been grounded around the country:

In an official message from JetBlue, the airline states that the network loss stems from a power outage at a data center and the situation should be resolved quickly:

We're experiencing intermittent network issues due to a data center power outage. We're working to resolve & should be restored shortly.

Since the company's website went down, reports have also surfaced on social media about problems checking into flights online and printing tickets.

At 2:38 p.m., JetBlue sent out the following Tweet:
