Ryanair Planes Clip Each Other On Runway

For the third time in a year, one Ryanair plane clipped another on an active taxiway at Dublin Airport in Ireland this morning, causing minor departure delays.
And as one Twitter user said, the incident was most definitely not an April Fools' joke. Pictures circulating on social media show one of the Ryanair planes with a busted wing.
A Ryanair spokesperson gave the following statement to Irish newspapers, with a not-so-subtle explanation as to who was at fault: "The winglet of one aircraft appears to have scraped the tail fin of the other. Both aircraft were under the instruction of Dublin Airport Air Traffic Control at the time.”
"Customers have been bussed back to the terminal and will board replacement aircraft to continue their journeys to Edinburgh and Zadar,” the spokesperson said. "Ryanair apologises sincerely to customers for any inconvenience caused."
