A truck drove into a crowded Christmas market in Berlin, Germany Monday night, killing at least nine people and injuring dozens more, the Associated Press reported.
Citing the Berliner Zeitung newspaper and the Berliner Morgenpost, the AP reported that the incident occurred at a market outside of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.

A witness told the U.K.'s Express that the truck was traveling "fast" and crashed with a loud bang.
So far, officials have yet to confirm whether the incident was an act of terror or an accident.
