A plane full of passengers was forced to make an emergency landing Tuesday in New Delhi, India, after a bomb threat was found on the bathroom mirror scribbled in lipstick.

Turkish Airlines Flight TK065 and all 134 passengers were en route to Bangkok, Thailand, when the pilot reported his crew found a threat of a bomb in the cargo hold and was forced to land at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

According to Deepshikha Ghosh of, the plane landed successfully at around 1:41 p.m. local time Tuesday afternoon and all passengers and crew members were removed from the aircraft uninjured. All 148 passengers and crew members onboard were taken to the terminal building and questioned by local authorities.

After a thorough search of the plane by commandos in the Indian National Security Guard, security officials discovered no explosive devices on the plane or in the luggage.

Turkish Airlines told that once the investigation was completed and the airplane was fully cleared and ready to return to service, passengers would once again board the flight and be taken to their final destination in Bangkok.

There have been several false bomb threats over the last few weeks that impacted flights. TravelPulse reported in late June on a flight was forced to land in Denmark due to a mysterious bag, and a Canadian flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Winnipeg after an anonymous bomb threat.
