On Thursday, the wings of two planes at a Phoenix airport collided, causing damage to both aircraft and a temporary delay at the facility.

According to CBSNews.com, Frontier Airlines Flight 765 was pushing back from the gate at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport when it clipped the wing of Southwest Airlines Flight 4182.

The Southwest Airlines aircraft was taxiing to its gate when it was struck by the Frontier Airlines plane. Officials at the Phoenix airport said that the collision caused a fuel leak and both airplanes were out of service while they underwent repairs.

There were no injuries reported from the collision.

The Frontier Airlines plane was carrying 163 passengers and six crew members as it prepared for its flight from Phoenix to Denver. On the other hand, the Southwest Airlines plane had just arrived in Phoenix from Oklahoma City with 174 passengers aboard. The Southwest flight was scheduled to continue to Denver later that night.

Passengers on both the Frontier Airlines and Southwest Airlines flights were deplaned and put on different aircraft to complete their journeys to Denver.

A witness to the incident - Southwest passenger Megan Whor - spoke to CBSNews.com, saying, "It took me a second to realize what happened. It felt like a speed bump more than anything else."
