WATCH: Fed Up Passengers Subdue Fellow Traveler

Talk about being fed up and taking matters into your own hands.

Passengers on a Siberia Airlines flight from Hong Kong to Vladivostok became so enraged at a fellow flier who was allegedly drunk and abusive that they tackled him in the aisle of the plane, subdued him, and restrained him with seatbelts and tape for the remainder of the flight.

The incident happened on Monday.

The video below has almost a half-million hits since it was published to YouTube.

The man was apparently detained by local police when the flight arrived in Vladivostok; those that did the, uh, detaining on the flight were not charged.

While the short video shows the beginning of the incident, when the man is confronted and tackled by another passenger and several others then join in, London’s Daily Telegraph has pictures of the aftermath in which the man is bound with the seatbelts and what looks like clear packing tape.
