WATCH: Man Sprints Across Tarmac to Catch Flight

If you ever happen to miss your flight, chasing it down the runway is one solution that should be ruled out immediately.

However that's exactly what one determined traveler recently did at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport in Madrid, Spain.

A brief video posted to Facebook over the weekend shows the unidentified man reach the end of an empty jet bridge and pause before leaping to the tarmac with his luggage in hand.

Amazingly, the man lands on his feet and tries hitching a ride on an airport vehicle before taking off in a sprint toward a Ryanair plane.

The video ends after the man is met by two airport employees, so it's a mystery as to how the incident turned out. But we can only assume he wasn't allowed to board his plane.

It's also unknown where the man was headed or if he'll face charges for the blatant security breach.

While it's certainly not the first time someone has ventured onto the tarmac at an airport, it's arguably the most effort anyone has ever put into literally catching a flight.
