Authorities in France are conducting an investigation after a woman was discovered Monday hiding a baby in her carry-on luggage.

According to The Associated Press, a woman traveling on Air France Flight 1891 from Istanbul, Turkey, to Paris, France, Monday was discovered to have a hidden baby in her carry-on luggage during the flight.

Another passenger on the aircraft reportedly saw an anomaly in the woman’s bag, and informed flight attendants of their concern. Once the crew members identified the bag, they shockingly discovered a baby inside.

Air France officials were told about the discovery and were in contact with French police, who met Flight 1891 when it landed in Paris. It was reported that woman did not have a ticket for the child, but no further details about the baby were revealed.

The official website of Air France indicates that children are eligible for tickets at a reduced price, including kids under two years old being able to fly free or at a discount on many flights.
