Woman Stopped At Airport Security With Gun-Shaped Stiletto Heels

A woman at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport found out the hard way that you can't bring high heels shaped like replica guns through an airport.

According to The Associated Press, a woman making her way through a security checkpoint at the Baltimore-Washington airport Sunday was discovered to have gun-shaped stiletto heels in her carry-on luggage.

TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein said the woman's shoes had replica guns as the actual heel of the stilettos and the perimeter was adorned with fake bullets. In the woman's bag, officials discovered an array of bracelets also featuring bullets.

The woman was told that she would be able to place the heels and bracelets in her checked luggage, but she decided to leave them with TSA officials in order to make her flight. TSA does not allow passengers to carry replica guns or ammunition through airport security checkpoints.
