The International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association announced that the New York Hilton Midtown has been chosen as the site of its 36th Annual Global Convention, the premier networking and educational event for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender tourism industry.
The conference is set for April 25-27, 2019, the first time IGLTA's signature event will be held in New York.

The Hilton New York Midtown will be a fantastic backdrop for visitors looking to discover both our classic and new attractions right in the heart of New York City," said Fred Dixon, President & CEO of NYC & Company, the city's official tourism organization.
As a top-level global partner of IGLTA since 2010, Hilton has committed to year-round support for the association and LGBTQ-welcoming travel. Jon Muñoz, Senior Director of Global Diversity and Inclusion, Hilton, serves as Vice Chair of the IGLTA Board of Directors.
