Barnette Promoted to Marketing Manager at South African Tourism

Justin Barnette was promoted to manager of marketing and communications for the U.S. office of South Africa Tourism. His expanded responsibilities include managing the marketing and communications strategy for SAT U.S. and coordinating public relations and media buying.
Barnette started with SAT in 2008. He successfully managed SAT’s partnership with NBC’s “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice,” writing and directing a series of high-impact radio campaigns, and leading SAT’s recent collaboration with Carnegie Hall on the Ubuntu Music and Arts of South Africa Festival.
He’s also taken a leadership role in SAT’s “What’s Your BIG 5?” campaign and the launch of the new “Point of View” video series that takes viewers on a journey through various adventures in South Africa.
Barnette graduated from Valdosta State University, where he studied communications, theater arts and public relations writing.
