Disney Announces Sharon Siskie as New SVP of Sales
On Wednesday, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts officially announced that long-time executive Sharon Siskie had been named the new senior vice president of sales in the United States.
The move is effective immediately.
As Disney’s senior vice president of sales, Siskie will take over the leisure and non-leisure sales channels domestically, and will also be responsible for sales and marketing organizations in Canada and Latin America.
On top of her other responsibilities for North America, Siskie will also be in charge of the Walt Disney Travel Company, as well as oversee travel operations—including Disney contact centers—and global in-bound receptive channels.
Siskie is familiar with the Disney Company, as she is a 21-year veteran. Prior to accepting the senior vice president of sales position, she was the vice president of international marketing and sales.
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts executive vice president Jill Estorino released a statement about Siskie’s new position:
“We’re excited to have Sharon lead this world-class sales organization. Sharon is well-respected within the industry, as well as within the Parks and Resorts organization. She brings a diverse array of sales and marketing experiences to the table, and is a proven leader of the highest integrity.”
