Rocky Mountaineer Welcomes Jonathan Hope

As Rocky Mountaineer enters its 26th season, the luxury train operator has announced the appointment of Jonathan Hope as director of sales, North America.

"Jonathan is a values-based leader with a strategic, big picture approach and has a proven track record of achieving new levels of success and market penetration throughout his career,” said Karen Hardie, vice president, global sales, Rocky Mountaineer. "We’re excited to see how his wealth of experience and revenue driven focus across consumer businesses will help refine our sales strategy and grow our trade and wholesale partnerships throughout North America.”

Hope, who will be based in Toronto, will head up the company’s sales efforts with an eye on further growing key markets and developing and strengthening major partnerships. Hope will oversee the sales team’s representatives located throughout North America.

Most recently Hope led his own consulting firm. He also has nearly 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing with Walt Disney Studios where he held several senior roles, including vice president, home entertainment sales.
