SeaWorld Appoints New Chief Financial and Creative Officers
SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc. has undergone major changes in recent years, and the evolution continues as the company announced Monday two new executives have been hired.
In a statement from SeaWorld, the company’s Board of Directors appointed Peter J. Crage as chief financial officer, effective Sept. 1, and Anthony Esparza as chief creative officer, effective Sept. 8.
Crage has more than 30 years of experience in the field, and most recently served as chief financial officer for Extended Stay America, Inc. Prior to that, he was the chief financial officer of HVM LLC. The 53-year-old executive also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Cedar Fair, L.P.
Esparza, 54, previously served as senior vice president, guest experiences, design and development for Herschend Enterprises, and has several years of experience in related industries.
SeaWorld president and CEO Joel Manby released a statement about the recent hirings:
