Rocketrip Names Sechrist Chief Revenue Officer

Rocketrip, the leading technology platform for reducing corporate travel expenses, has announced that Drew Sechrist has joined the company as chief revenue officer. Sechrist, previously vice president at Salesforce, joins Rocketrip with a depth of experience from building a billion-dollar sales organization.

Prior to joining Rocketrip, Sechrist was part of the team that grew Salesforce from pre-revenue to over $1 billion in revenue. He helped define the best practices that built Salesforce into a SaaS powerhouse, eventually becoming both the company’s #1 sales manager and #1 account executive globally.

Silversea Appoints Bava As VP Marketing For The Americas

Silversea Cruises has announced the appointment of Janet Bava as VP of marketing for the Americas.

 Malliouhana, An Auberge Resort has announced the appointment of Marc Alvarez as executive chef of The Restaurant at Malliouhana. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Alvarez will take the culinary operations of Malliouhana to new heights with his expertise in authentic Caribbean cuisine.

Most recently, Alvarez served as executive chef of Cove Castles Restaurant in Anguilla, where he oversaw the re-opening of the restaurant to the public and implemented a wood-burning menu concept. Prior to that, Alvarez took a role as consulting chef for popular Anguilla hot spots Straw Hat and The Pumphouse. Before returning to the Caribbean, Alvarez held positions at New York restaurants Danny Meyers Café 2, Crispo Restaurant, The Polo at The Westbury and Aureole, where he worked with Michelin three-star Chef Charlie Palmer.

The St. Regis Atlanta Appoints Romero Director of Sales & Marketing

 AMResorts Names Zboznovits Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development

AMResorts has named Claudio Zboznovits vice president of global sales and business development, a new role created to further support the company’s unprecedented growth.

Zboznovits previously served as the corporate vice president and chief commercial officer of BlueBay Hotels & Resorts. There, he was responsible for driving the company’s commercialization, growth and profitability strategy across key market segments.

Outrigger Hotels And Resorts Appoints Gerbig-Hussey General Manager Of The Royal Kahana Maui By Outrigger

Outrigger Resorts has appointed hospitality veteran Sheila Gerbig-Hussey general manager of the Royal Kahana Maui by Outrigger. With a 22-year history at Outrigger, Gerbig-Hussey was hired as a front desk clerk at Kihei Bay Vista and in less than a year, moved to the Outrigger Napili Shores as front office manager. From there Gerbig-Hussey moved to the Outrigger Royal Kahana Resort as front office manager and then assistant general manager, followed by director of revenue management for Outrigger's corporate services working from Maui. Moving to the OHANA Maui Islander, Gerbig-Hussey was owner liaison manager and at the Outrigger Aina Nalu, assistant general manager and most recently general manager.
