Trust Hospitality Names Paias General Manager of Zemi Beach House
Zemi Beach House, the luxury boutique property that opened this February on Anguilla’s East End, has announced the appointment of Paulo Paias to the role of general manager.
Paias brings to Zemi Beach House more than 25 years of hospitality industry experience with a focus on luxury boutique hotels, especially those that serve the ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) community. He specializes in launching new businesses as well as turning around under-performing properties to achieve increased sales and profits. Paias has a proven track record of success managing hotel projects and campaigns that enhance brand awareness and facilitate expansion into new markets.
Cusiter Joins Como’s Sales And Marketing Team As Vice President
COMO Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Ron Cusiter as vice president of sales and marketing. Cusiter is based at the company’s head-office on Orange Grove Road in Singapore and will lead the group’s global marketing and sales strategy.
With 25 years in the luxury hospitality industry, Cusiter – who graduated from Aberdeen College – joins COMO from Zurich, Switzerland, where he was Vice President of Sales Operations for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Southwest Asia for Hyatt International.
Omni Bedford Springs Resort Strengthens Leadership Team With A Duo Of Executive Appointments
Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Pennsylvania's scenic Allegheny Mountains has enhanced its leadership team with the announcement of two executive appointments. Both appointees combined bring nearly four decades of experience in the hospitality industry to the historic mountain resort.
An accomplished leader with more than 30 years of industry experience, Bill Liedholm has been named general manager. Liedholm arrived from The New Sanno in Tokyo, where he served as director and general manager for three years. He has also held the position of general manager for several hotel brands, including Milestone Hotels, Quorum Hotels & Resorts, and Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, and worked at the Omni Hotels & Resorts office in Corpus Christi, Texas, for nearly a year before the company relocated to Dallas.
Michael McDonald has been named spa director at Omni Bedford Springs Resort's Springs Eternal Spa following a year of huge success in the spa manager role. Prior to his promotion, McDonald spent two years at Omni Bedford Springs Resort as the assistant front office and guest service manager then spa manager. He also held hospitality roles at Omni Jacksonville Hotel and One Ocean Resort & Spa in Atlantic Beach, Florida.
Madeline Hotel And Residences Appoints Carter Director Of Sales And Marketing
Madeline Hotel and Residences in Telluride, Colorado is pleased to announce that John Carter will join the AAA Four Diamond resort, as the new director of sales and marketing.
Carter brings a wealth of luxury hospitality experience to his new position. Prior to returning to Telluride for the opportunity with Madeline Hotel and Residences, Mr. Carter served as Director at several mountain destination properties including The Resort at Squaw Creek, The Sky Hotel in Aspen, Colorado, and The Hotel Telluride in Telluride, Colorado.
Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa and Hotel Terra Jackson Hole Promote Brin to Area Hotel Manager
Noble House Hotels & Resorts’ properties Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa and neighboring Hotel Terra Jackson Hole, have announced the promotion of Sally Brin, formerly hotel manager of Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, to the position of area hotel manager for both hotels. Brin will continue to oversee the concierge, sales, front office, and guest relations teams for Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa and will now also manage Hotel Terra Jackson Hole’s rooms division, the reservations team, and the eco-property’s Chill Spa. She will also work directly with Noble House’s Director of Rooms Jason Moll to incorporate corporate directives at each property.
Brin brings more than 10 years of hospitality and tourism experience to her new role. She spent a year as the hotel manager of Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa after being promoted to the role in 2015 from her three-year position as rooms manager. Brin began her hospitality career in Jackson Hole at Spring Creek Ranch and gained additional experience as the conference services manager at Snake River Lodge & Spa and as the front office manager at The Inn at Jackson Hole. Brin holds a degree in restaurant and tourism management from the University of Denver.
