Dream Hotel Group has named Christian Glauser-Benz vice president of development for Latin America and the Caribbean. Tapping into nearly 15 years of experience in hotel development and portfolio expansion, Glauser-Benz brings a wealth of knowledge and an extensive global network of relationships with real estate developers, capital groups and private investors to Dream Hotel Group.
Prior to joining Dream Hotel Group, Glauser-Benz held positions with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a Fortune 500 real estate company, where he was the Vice President for all new hospitality developments along the West Coast US and Hawaii while working closely with developers, capital groups and hotel operators and with Oppenheim Architecture, where he served as vice president overseeing the implementation of the firm's global growth strategy. Glauser-Benz began his career and passion for hotels and development by working with world-class architects Frank Gehry, WATG and Callison.
Ashley Gochnauer Appointed General Manager The Everly, Kimpton’s Newest Los Angeles Hotel Opening April 2017
Ashley Gochnauer has been named general manager of the newest Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants property in Los Angeles, The Everly, slated to open April 2017. Gochnauer, previously general manager of Kimpton’s Hotel Wilshire, will be responsible for the management, operations and marketing of the new 216-room hotel.
Gochnauer has an extensive hospitality background, including seven years with the Kimpton brand across three Los Angeles properties. Prior to joining Kimpton, she worked for W Hotels & Resorts and Viceroy Hotels and Resorts. In Gochnauer’s most recent position at Hotel Wilshire, she led the launch of a successful first year under Kimpton ownership while overseeing operations for the boutique hotel.

In addition to his position with IHG, Lailheugue held a significant role as the seasonal executive chef at the well-known Relais & Chateaux Group for six years.

Chan joins Rosewood Tucker’s Point from Belle Mont Farm on Kittitian Hill, St. Kitts where she most recently served as director of sales. Prior to that role, she served as a travel consultant for the iconic Malliouhana, an Auberge Resort in Anguilla where she provided direction and counsel during the resort’s re-opening. Her extensive experience also includes two years as director of sales & marketing at Anguilla’s renowned Cap Juluca resort and seven years as travel industry sales manager at Four Seasons Resort Nevis. Additionally, Chan was previously with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts as part of the sales team that handled the Caribbean resorts.

Loews New Orleans Hotel announces Jason Walter as executive chef. A veteran of the New Orleans hotel community, Walter brings 19 years of experience in luxury hotel culinary operations to his new role.
Chef Walter joins Loews New Orleans from the New Orleans Marriott where he served as Executive Sous Chef. In his role, Walter oversaw the full culinary staff, developed employee training programs, and drove hotel participation in local culinary events and competitions. Prior to his post at the Marriott, he cultivated his expertise in hotel banquet service with positions at the Windsor Court Hotel and Renaissance Pere Marquette in New Orleans and the Renaissance Grand and Suites Hotel in St. Louis, Mo.
