Hospitality Veteran Frank Ashmore Joins  Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa At Montelucia  As General Manager

Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia is delighted to announce the appointment of Frank Ashmore as general manager. Longtime resident of Arizona for over two decades, Ashmore will continue to lead the Spanish-inspired luxury resort by remaining active in the local business community through fostering new and existing relationships, and focusing on creating memorable experiences for guests and his resort staff.

Over his 25 years of hospitality experience, Ashmore has been recognized with numerous accolades including the Director of Sales & Marketing of the Year at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company L.L.C., the General Manager Award at Capella Hotel Group for highest scores in the portfolio for guest satisfaction, RevPOR, and employee satisfaction, in addition to helping lead The Resort at Pelican Hill to a coveted Forbes Five Star Rating.

Steve Cadaret Appointed General Manager DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – Lake Buena Vista

Steve Cadaret has been named general manager of DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – Lake Buena Vista, in Orlando, Florida, effective immediately. Cadaret will oversee the day-to-day operation of the 229-suite hotel at Walt Disney World Resort and a short walk from Disney Springs, the new reimagined Downtown Disney.

A seasoned hospitality professional and effective leader, Cadaret most recently held the position of regional director of operations ONE Hospitality Group overseeing a portfolio of 7 limit and full service hotels in Texas and Oklahoma. He began his extensive hospitality career in 1989 with Marriott holding various management positions in front office, housekeeping and food and beverage. He was district general manager of Hyatt Place Chicago, opening the first branded Hyatt Place hotel, area general manager of Hyatt Place Orlando Universal and the Orlando Convention Center and more recently area general manager Embassy Suites DFW South.  

Cadaret attended North Lake Community College Irving, Texas and is a member of DFW Hotel Association, HSMAI and the Hotel Association of North Texas.

Hickory Global Partners Names Michael White To Lead Business Development

Hickory Global Partners has announced that Michael White has joined the company’s management team.

As the company’s business development manager, White will be responsible for increasing HICKORY’s travel agency membership for both levels of participation – including the open program and the Hotel Revenue Share Partnership program.  He is also responsible for developing the company’s international growth strategy. 

White brings vast experience and an entrepreneurial mindset in all areas of the travel industry, including partner care sales, account management, strategic planning, sales and marketing strategy, onsite implementations, client service, and revenue growth and generation. 

Oetker Collection Announces Major Executive Appointments

While Oetker Collection, the most inspiring selection of masterpiece hotels in the world, is continuing its selective growth, CEO Frank Marrenbach has decided to further strengthen his team with the following appointments, effective immediately:

Didier Le Calvez is promoted to COO – chief operating officer – reporting to the CEO, while retaining the position of managing director for Le Bristol Paris.

Philippe Perd is promoted to Chief Project Development Officer (CPDO) reporting to the CEO, while retaining the role of managing director for Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes and the supervision of Chateau St. Martin & Spa in Vence as well as L’Apogée Courchevel.

Reporting to the CEO, Jean-Pierre Soutric, joining from Four Seasons, is appointed senior vice president, sales & marketing. He will be seconded by Caroline Goux, promoted to vice president, sales, and Joelle Edwards-Tonks, promoted to vice president, marketing, while Alain Briere will maintain his longtime position as vice president, communications.

Virginie Thomas Saint-Laurent is appointed vice president, human resources reporting to the CEO.
