Woodmark Hotel Names Jacobs as G.M.

The Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club & Spa in Kirkland, Wash, 15 minutes east of Seattle, has named Howard Jacobs as general manager. Jacobs brings more than 25 years of experience in the hotel management industry to his new role. Most recently, he served a dual position with the Goodman Group in Albuquerque, as multi-unit development manager and general manager for the Hotel Andaluz.
In addition, he spent more than 10 years in Portland, Ore., as president of Provenance Hotels and as a principal for Continuum Consulting Group, a hospitality development and consulting firm focused on urban boutique hotels. Prior to Provenance Hotels, he was worldwide conference center manager for R.R. Donnelley across the United States, Europe and Asia and general manager for the Alexis Hotel in Seattle and the Flamingo Hilton in Laughlin, Nev.
