Austin Adventures Unveils the Austin Global Seven

In celebration of its achievement in 2015 of global tour operator status after 40 years, Austin Adventures released a list of its top pick of tour packages for each continent.
The company reached its milestone with its seventh continent in 2015 with the addition of Asia through its river cruising trips in Vietnam and Cambodia. Here is the Austin list:
For North America, Austin is suggesting a fall departure of its Bryce/Zion National Park Adventure, which comes in two versions, either hiking or multisport adventure. The trip features the Big Sky of the Great American West. The six-day trip is priced $2,398 per person.
For South America, Austin is putting forth its Chile – Northern Patagonia trip. The 10-day/nine-night trip includes hiking, biking, rafting and horseback riding. It visits the Northern Lake district that spans the border of Chile and Argentina, deserts and artisan villages and many choices of treks to take. The program is prices from $5,898 per person.
For Europe, Austin has picked its France/Provence Multisport package. The seven-day/six-night program focuses on the rich landscapes of the region, including its vineyards, fields of lavender and thyme, summer markets and local wines. It’s priced from $3,698 per person.
For Asia, the company is suggesting its Bali-Indonesia Luxury Adventure. The 13-day/12-night program showcases the exotic island with its serene eastern culture, rice paddies, clove plantations and ancient temples. Activities include snorkeling, biking and tracking dolphins on an outrigger. The 13-day/12-night program is priced from $5,398 per person.
Austin’s pick for Africa is its Iconic Botswana package. The 11-day/10-night program presents the still pristine wilderness of Botswana, including game drives, walking safaris, wildlife visible from the deck of your own safari tent and the experience of the wetlands of the Okavango Delta. It’s priced from $8,798 per person.
For its entry in the polar regions, Austin offers its Antarctic Peninsula Small Ship Cruise. The 11-day/10-night trip uses the 144-passenger M/V Plancius, with opportunities to explore the land on snowshoes, in kayaks or in zodiacs. This trip to another world is priced from $9,300 per person.
In Australia, Austin offers its Australia: Kimberly Wilderness Cruise. Everything down under is over the top, and this trip is no exception with helicopter flightseeing, explorations of the rainforest, encounters with aboriginal art tens of thousands of years old and hikes. The home base during the trip is the 36-passenger MV True North. It’s priced from $11,095 per person.
