Issaquah, Wash.-based Bicycle Adventures is celebrating its 30-year anniversary in 2014 with the launch of a new Lewis and Clark Epic Journey-By Bicycle program. In its anniversary year it is offering six new trips, including a five-borough tour of New York.
The company is offering some tours at a special $1,984 price to commemorate the company’s date of birth, including new programs such as Portland Pedaler; Idaho Lakes and Rivers, Death Valley National Park and Three Lakes Triathlon Tour. Also for $1,984 are Zion Four-Day Bike Tour, San Juan Islands Four-Day Tour, Seattle Sampler and Glacier National Park.
Bicycle Adventures is offering 18 different tour programs that are priced $2,500 or less, and is running more departures than at any time in its history. New for 2014 trips is Moab and Arches Classic with road riding, mountain biking, hiking and jet boating or river rafting on the Colorado River. All equipment is supplied. The tour starts and finishes in Moab, Utah, with accommodations at the Canyonlands Inn.
