Collette Offers Tours into the Land of 'Frozen'
Hoping to ride the wave of enthusiasm generated by the Academy Award-winning Disney movie “Frozen,” Collette introduced a new tour of Norway, Sweden and Denmark called Spectacular Scandinavia. The two-week tour includes two-night stays in Copenhagen, Denmark; Oslo and Bergen, Norway; and Stockholm, Sweden.
The film was based on Danish author Hans Christian Anderson's story "The Snow Queen."
The tour will begin with an opening dinner at Gamle Raadhus, a popular Oslo restaurant in the city's historical town hall and travels through cities and the countrysides of the Scandinavian countries, providing a varied introduction.
Included in the itinerary are a stay at the old-fashioned village of Flam; a visit to the Borgund Stave Church built in 1180; a trip on the Flam railway; a journey across the Sognefjord to the Briksdal Glacier; a cruise on the Geirangerfjord; a walking tour of Bergen; a tour of Copenhagen including the statue of the Little Mermaid, Amalienborg and Denmark's center of Parliament; an overnight stay in the Swedish Manor House Toftaholm Herrgard; and a visit to the Vasa Ship Museum. The trip is priced from $4,549 per person double occupancy.
