IsramWorld, also known as Isram Wholesale Tours and Travel, is restructuring its business, splitting the American and Israel sides of the business and promoting Richard Krieger to president of the American side.
Ady Gelber, chairman and CEO of Isram USA released a notice that he would be promoting Richard Krieger to the role of president.
Krieger has worked for Isram in various sales and marketing positions for the last five years and is a 20-year veteran of the travel industry.
"Having personally mentored Richard for the past five years, I am confident that as we continue to work together, he is the right person to bring Isram into the future, along with our subsidiary companies, Orient Flexi Pax Tours, Europetoo, Latour, Escapade Vacations, Holy Land Sun Tours, The Elite Travel Collection, A Woman's View and Vistas, Gelber said in his statement.
The Israel-based and the U.S.-based sides of the business are also splitting apart. In his press release Gelber said he and his colleague Shaanan Krauss, who heads Isram Israel, have agreed amicably to divide the ownership of the business.
"I have agreed to relinquish my interest in Isram's Israeli company in order to focus exclusively on Isram USA," said Gelber. "And Shaanan has agreed to relinquish his interest in Isram's U.S. company in order to develop Isram's business in Israel.
"In an amicable transaction completed recently, we now have greater latitude to concentrate on the markets and locations we know best, strengthening the Isram brand in the United States, Israel and around the world."
