Luxury Gold, curated by Insight Vacations, is building on the success of its fourth year of operation and launching its first worldwide program in 2017. The company’s luxury portfolio is expanding with 16 new itineraries, nine new countries, two new continents and an inaugural voluntourism extension.
The 2017 collection will feature 39 expertly crafted escorted journeys delivering five-star elegance and incredible private VIP experiences across Europe, North and South America, India, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. The 16 new itineraries include trips to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and the Galapagos Islands, all for the first time.
“We’re excited to debut our Luxury Gold program in Southeast Asia, the South Pacific and further parts of South America,” said Phil Cappelli, president of Luxury Gold USA. “Our first Luxury Gold itinerary in Peru, which was introduced this year, has received a phenomenal Net Promoter Score of 98 percent and we are confident that this new program will fare just as impressively.”
Guests will stay in properties renowned for their exceptional quality, style, location and service, including stunning hotels like The Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur, Italy’s Capri Palace Hotel & Spa and The Milestone Hotel in London.
Other hallmarks of a Luxury Gold holiday include immersive and exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences such as a fascinating meet and greet with the choreographer at La Nouvelle Eve, one of Paris’ top cabaret shows, or an after-hours visit with an art historian at Venice’s magnificent Doge's Palace.
Partnered with epicurean dining in the finest restaurants and the services of a 24/7 Traveling Concierge who attends to every detail and satisfies every request, Luxury Gold is the perfectly curated trip for the discerning, fun-loving and culturally curious traveler.
“To travel with Luxury Gold is to travel beyond the ordinary,” said John Boulding, global CEO of Luxury Gold. “We have truly thought of every last detail, from the breathtaking five-star accommodations to the personal attention of our traveling concierges and extraordinarily immersive VIP experiences.”
New itineraries for 2017 include:
• Inspiring Australia, a 13-day journey through Queensland, the Northern Territory and New South Wales. Highlights include snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, sunset canapes at Uluru, a bushwalk in the Blue Mountains and a cruise across Sydney Harbor on an America’s Cup yacht.
• The French Connection, a 13-day exploration of England, Guernsey, Jersey and France. This unique journey takes guests through Thomas Hardy’s Dorset, the fascinating war history of Plymouth, the 1588 Spanish Armada and the German occupation of the Channel Islands before culminating in Paris and the Loire Valley.
• Classic South America, a 12-day cultural escape from Sugarloaf cityscapes to the thundering chasm of the Devil’s Throat and everything in-between. Highlights include a journey through Pan-Asian cuisine in Rio’s Michelin-starred Mee Restaurant, a luxury hotel near the thundering Iguassu Falls and a stay in the five-star Belmond Copacabana Palace.
Luxury Gold is also launching a new voluntourism extension in India through partners ME to WE, allowing guests the opportunity to spend time in a rural Rajasthan community.
Guests work on building projects, learn about sustainable agriculture practices and glean insightful knowledge about life in the hills and farmland of India through the personal stories of the men and women living there.
Guests stay in the Araveli Cottages and Tented Camp, enjoying a sunrise yoga session and nature walk through the hills of the Aravalli mountain range.
This new extension supports Luxury Gold’s commitment to sustaining the environments and cultures in which it operates, through the TreadRight Foundation, a joint initiative between The Travel Corporation’s (TTC) family of brands.
