Dreaming of a frothy cappuccino at a sidewalk osteria in Rome … an unrushed afternoon with Michelangelo and da Vinci in Florence … a relaxing gondola ride through the ancient narrow canals of Venice? Dream no more. Globus and Cosmos are inviting travelers to drink in the splendors of life in Italy in 2017 with incredible vacation offerings and the best deals of the year.
“From north to south and heel to toe, Globus leads travelers to the architecture, art and artistic delicacies of Italy — all while artistically arranging every aspect of the vacation,” said Scott Nisbet, chief executive officer for the Globus family of brands. “While we take care of transportation, our travelers can linger in a trattoria. While we handle the logistics, they can sip the Limoncello. We make sure they only thing passing them by is the scenery.”
With a diverse portfolio of Italy vacations ranging from seven to 15 days, Globus’ most popular tours to this incredible destination are 11-day The Best of Italy including a detailed look at life 2,000 years ago as travelers spend a day in Pompeii; 13-day Italian Mosaic featuring laid-back luxury and beautiful landscapes galore in such places as Lake Maggiore, Venice, Sorrento and Capri as well as eight-day Italy’s Great Cities where travelers not only experience the sights, sounds and tastes of Italy’s favorite cities, they also enjoy the scenery on the Tyrrhenian coast, the wooded Apennine mountain range and the vine- and wine-clad hills of Tuscany.
For 2017, Globus is also touting Italy tours priced at less than $200 a day — approximately 25 percent less than the average Italy vacation. They are the nine-day Italian Sampler and eight-day Italian Vista.
Cosmos, the budget-friendly sister brand of Globus, is also offering travelers the chance to enjoy Italy for as little as $1,109 on its eight-day Magic of the Italian Lakes vacation.
“It’s time for travelers to enjoy an awakening of the senses in the land famous for the Renaissance. To see the delicate brushstrokes of the masters. To touch the crumbling walls of the Roman Forum and to hear the hallowed echo inside centuries-old basilicas,” said Nisbet. “It’s time to taste the Chiantis, cheese and olive oils that have aged to absolute perfection. And, there’s no time like the present to take advantage of the best deals of the year.”
Take Off In 2017 Sales Event: Travelers booking their Globus 2017 Italy vacation before Nov. 29, 2016 will enjoy the best prices of the year, including 10 percent off per person. Those booking an air-inclusive Europe vacation of six nights or more can also receive an air credit of up to $300 per couple. Cosmos travelers can receive a $50 discount when booking early.
