Mayflower Tours has partnered with Tourism Cares and the National Park Service to make donations to the National Parks Service for every customer they take to one of the parks.
Mayflower is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the creation of the National Park Service by promoting visits to the national parks.
“As an active member of Tourism Cares, along with our continued support of their ongoing work throughout our planet, Mayflower Tours has decided to participate in their philanthropic effort and will donate, on behalf of our travelers, $5 per person for every National Park they visit with us in 2016,” said John Stachnik, president of Mayflower Tours.
Mayflower will donate $5 for every park visited by a customer on a tour. Some Mayflower programs visit as many as four parks, so donations will multiply on that basis.
The Chicago-based operator now offers 17 tours that include visits to the national parks.
