Tahiti Legends is more than their name suggests. Much more. While the company may have made its mark offering Tahitian vacations of uncompromising quality, the company's expertise extends throughout the South Pacific to such destinations as Fiji, Cook Islands, Vanuatu Islands, Australia and New Zealand.

Created by a team of South Pacific professionals, the staff is intimately familiar with what makes each destination and property unique. Moreover, they have personally experienced each sightseeing adventure and activity so whether it's Fiji or something further afield, the professionals at Tahiti Legends can create a special journey for your clients.

Fiji

Home to 333 islands, Fiji is one of the top destinations for a honeymoon, destination wedding or any romantic escape, for that matter. And with 4,000 square miles of coral reef, the islands are a fantasy come true for divers and anyone who enjoys water sports. Clients of Tahiti Legends may wish to vacation on Beqa, whose spectacular lagoon was named "Soft Coral Capital of the World" by Jacques Cousteau and is an ideal area for shark diving. The 20 volcanic islands known as the Mamanucas, are known for their diversity and beauty.

You may have even seen the uninhabited island of Monuriki, which played home to Tom Hanks' character in "Castaway." The "Garden Island of Fiji" - Taveuni -- is aptly named with lush tropical rainforests and a plethora of indigenous flora and fauna. Vanua Levu, Fiji's second largest island, offers one of the world's largest barrier reefs, while Viti Levu, the largest, is home to the nation's capital and offers a host of activities from an 18-hole championship golf course to high-end shopping. The Yasawa Islands are the ultimate getaway. Home to one of the most exclusive honeymoon resorts, it makes the ideal escape for those seeking total privacy.

Cook Islands

A mix of coral atolls and volcanic islands, the Cook Islands are among the South Pacific's best-kept secrets. The six islands that comprise the Northern Group are often described by explorers and artists as 'the stuff that dreams are made of." Cook Islanders reflect a blend of their Polynesian and European heritages, giving the islands a rich, unique identity filled with warmth and hospitality.

Rarotonga is world-renowned for its beauty with emerald mountains and a coral reef encircling the island. While there, don't miss the Punanga Nui Market, which is a great place to sample local cuisine and shop for souvenirs, and be sure to visit in November for the annual Vaka Eiva (outrigger canoe) Festival.

Australia and New Zealand

New Zealand boasts some of the most diverse and exoitc scenery in the South Pacific and a trip to the "Land of Enchantment" will undoubtedly leave you wanting to return for more. From sandy beaches to snowcapped mountains, New Zealand is perfect for every type of adventure, be it a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

Where New Zealand is small and varied Australia is vast and the opportunities are endless. Large metorpolises, endless desert landscapes, sandy beaches and exotic isles draw visitors from around the world for any number of activities. If you can dream it, you can most likely do it in the land Down Under.
