Adventures by Disney has just launched three new weeklong trips that explore the U.S. The new trips are scheduled to begin this summer and include Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Montana and Central Florida.
Lonely Planet recently named Philadelphia the number one place to visit in the U.S. in 2016. And the new trip will bring American history to life visiting the nation’s capital and the City of Brotherly Love.
In Montana, guests are able to experience glamping and the beauty of Yellowstone National Park during the centennial celebration of the National Parks Service.
In addition to exploring Central Florida’s “Space Coast,” the new Florida itinerary will give guests the opportunity to get unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to Walt Disney World.
“Adventures by Disney is proud to showcase the majestic landscapes, riveting history and diverse experiences available throughout America on these and other itineraries,” said Ken Potrock, senior vice president of Adventures by Disney. “Now is a wonderful time to explore the United States, and with the addition of these vacations we’ve found new ways to offer exciting, varied activities that appeal to every member of the family.”
Walt Disney World Resort & Central Florida
This trip is the perfect theme park vacation combined with adventures in Old Florida. Within Walt Disney World Resort, visitors go behind the scenes and experience special perks, including a privately guided safari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, backstage access to the Rivers of Light show and VIP seating, an exclusive dinner at Disney’s Contemporary Resort chef’s kitchen, special FastPass+ access to popular attractions and more. There is even the opportunity to meet with Disney Imagineers behind the scenes to see how the Disney magic is created.
Beyond Walt Disney World, visitors discover Old Florida with visits to the Kennedy Space Center, Lake Tohopekaliga in Osceola County, Fla., and Shingle Creek. The tour includes ziplining, horseback riding, an air boat ride, kayaking and a firsthand lesson into what it takes to soar into space and enjoying a lunch with an astronaut.
Adventures by Disney's new Montana journey combines the beauty of Yellowstone National Park and Big Sky, Montana. The journey begins in Bozeman and then heads to the Lamar Valley and then on to glamping at Yellowstone Under Canvas as well as exploring the sights of Yellowstone National Park, hiking and backcountry biking. In Big Sky, visitors head to 320 Guest Ranch for the last couple of nights where family activities include horseback riding, whitewater rafting, fly-fishing and a private riverside cookout.

Washington, D.C. & Philadelphia
This new journey takes visitors on an interactive journey through history. Guests see some of America’s most iconic landmarks and watch history come to life through encounters with historical figures, a scavenger hunt and in-depth storytelling along the way.
In Philadelphia, a trolley tour takes visitors to the city’s landmarks such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and the Reading Terminal Market. While in D.C., guests will follow in the footsteps of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and Betsy Ross and see the Capitol, the Library of Congress, the Newseum and more. There is a stop in the town of Gettysburg where President Lincoln’s speech comes to life, told by costumed National Parks guides and guests ride down the Potomac River to Mount Vernon to see the lush gardens that he designed and his 21-room mansion.
All of the trips are seven-day, six-night itineraries. Pricing for Walt Disney World & Central Florida starts at $4,699; Montana starts at $3,729; and Wasthington D.C. & Philadelphia starts at $3,209.
