Trafalgar Tours is at it again.
Welcome to the third act of the company’s incredible performance of “Savings ’16 – The Flash Sales.”
For the third time already this year, Trafalgar has another promotion that begins today, March 1, this one geared toward families. Now through March 7, Trafalgar is offering select trips in which the second guest gets 30 percent off and young travelers can get an extra 10 percent discount.
That’s right – Buy One, Get One 30 Percent Off.
The fare is valid for new bookings on select 2016 departures when booked between March 1 and March 7, and paid in full at time of booking. You can find the complete list of bookings here. Trips begin as soon as an April 14 departure and end with a Sept. 2 departure. Children ages 5-17 earn the additional 10 percent discount on land-only portions of the trip.
Suffice to say, the offerings are vast and diverse, from going to gladiator school in Rome, seeing where Harry Potter’s train left for Hogwarts in England or hiking to the tallest waterfall in the United States at Yellowstone National Park.
The 30 percent second guest discount is based on a 15 percent per person discount applied to both guests on the booking; 15 percent savings are also available for single travelers and odd-numbered travelers in a booking.
Travel agents? Trafalgar didn’t forget about your role in this. Agents can earn commissions of up to nearing $2,000 while giving clients’ wallets a break with savings of up to $2,324 for a family of four on guided vacations with select departures. The commission varies, of course, but that figure is based on the average agency commission earned on the ‘Highlights of Austria, Slovenia & Croatia departure for two adults and two children, including the 10 percent young traveller discount.
