Carnival Launches New Ad Campaign, Travel Agent Contest and 100-City Tour

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of its "Onboard with You" trade support platform, Carnival Cruise Line is rolling out a brand new ad campaign alongside a travel agent contest and 100-city tour.
The announcement comes on the heels of a successful first year that saw Carnival introduce its first-ever Facebook page for agents.
The new campaign, known as "Together We’re Better," will feature ads in various trade publications beginning Monday. The campaign will stress the importance of the partnership between the Florida-based cruise line and agents.
Meanwhile, the "Onboard with You Anniversary Contest" runs now through Sept. 18 and will award a complimentary Carnival cruise for two to the Caribbean to the agent that reveals the best sales tip they have learned over the past year.
Participating agents can submit their tips on the cruise line's trade Facebook page. The winner will be selected by a panel of members from Carnival's sales team.
Aside from the grand prize winner, a runner-up will win a $100 gift card, while 100 additional winners will receive a free t-shirt.
In conjunction with the new ad campaign and agent contest, Carnival is hitting the road this year for a "Together We’re Better" travel partner tour. The tour will be hosted by the cruise line’s business development managers and will visit more than 100 cities across North America.
The tour — which will feature events designed to help travel partners engage with Carnival's sales team to learn sales strategies and more about Carnival products — is scheduled to conclude in March 2017.
"We are incredibly grateful for the tremendous level of support we have received from the agent community during the first year of 'Onboard with You' and we're looking forward to introducing even more initiatives as part of this platform moving forward," said Carnival's Vice President of Sales and Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez in a statement. "The anniversary contest and new ‘Together We’re Better’ tour are designed to celebrate the positive impact this platform has made in our relationship with agents and they reflect our continued commitment to working with agents to strengthen our partnership even further."
