Ensemble Schedules 2014 Conference for Oct. 26-30 in Palm Springs
International travel agency cooperative Ensemble Travel Group, at its annual conference at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., said it would hold its 2014 conference on Oct. 26-30 at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa, part of the Ensemble Hotel & Resort Collection, and located just outside of Palm Springs, Calif. The adjacent Renaissance Esmeralda Indian Wells Resort & Spa will also provide lodging and convention space for the meeting.
Ensemble also announced three other major events in 2014 designed to strengthen members’ business and sales skills and increase their networking with peers and preferred partners. Those three events include Oasis, Ensemble Top 25 Celebration and Ensemble Executive Retreat.
Oasis is a hands-on training event designed for frontline agents to fine-tune their selling skills. The first Oasis was offered to Ensemble Canadian members in 2000, but it will now be expanded in 2014 with a pilot meeting for U.S. members (date and venue currently being finalized). In Canada, Oasis will be held April 25-26 at the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and May 2-3 for members in Quebec (venue currently being finalized).
The 2014 Ensemble Top 25 Celebration will be held March 26-April 3 aboard Crystal Symphony on a cruise from Singapore to Vietnam. This annual event, which recognizes the top 25 producers in both the U.S. and Canada, includes a number of social, recreational and business activities. Selection criteria are based on members’ 2013 sales performance with Ensemble’s preferred suppliers.
Finally, Ensemble will hold Executive Retreats in the U.S. on May 15-18 at Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vt., and in Canada, June 1-4, at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Lake Louise, Alberta. These multiday events, led by guest educators, are specially designed for Ensemble U.S. and Canadian agency owners and managers to focus on growing their business. The program also includes several business meetings, one-on-one sessions with participating preferred partners, team-building activities and a number of social events.
