A few lucky travel agents in Canada and the United States will have the chance to win an 11-night dream trip to Africa, with all expenses paid, including airfare.
This year, Goway will offer nine slots on this coveted fam trip, which includes a multi-dimensional exploration of Ethiopia - the only country in Africa to never have been colonized, as well as KwaZulu Natal; home to a number of South Africa's cultural attractions. Goway has partnered with Tourism KwaZulu Natal and Ethiopian Airlines to design this trip.
The Ethiopian portion of the trip includes Addis Ababa, frequently called the capital of Africa, Ethiopia is home to Lucy, the oldest humanoid in the world; Gondar, also called the Ethiopian Camelot; and Lalibela, the unofficial "eighth wonder of the world," home to 11 ancient rock-hewn churches, still in use for worship today.
In KwaZulu Natal, participants will experience Zulu culture and the traditions in Zululand, including first-hand tales of the battles fought between the Zulu and the English. A big-five safari is included, as are visits to the cosmopolitan beach towns of Durban and Umhlanga. Diving or snorkeling at South Africa's premier diving site can also be arranged.
The all-inclusive trip includes roundtrip airfare from New York or Toronto to Durban via Addis Ababa as well as domestic flights from Addis to Gondar and Lalibela. Also included are all taxes, 11 nights' accommodation, most meals, sightseeing, activities and safari park game drives.
To qualify, agents must simply make at least one booking to any destination Goway offers. All bookings made as of Jan. 1, 2016 qualify. Agents will receive more entries for any additional bookings.
