The needs of travel agents are constantly evolving and expanding as the business becomes more and more entrepreneurial. It has spawned a new breed of travel entrepreneur, the home-based agent, a segment that is almost 50 percent of the entire travel agent market and one that is responsible for 40 percent of all leisure travel sales. Courtney Love, Marketing Director said, "Suppliers and destinations are looking for new and innovative ways to reach, educate and inform these agents. The Agent@Home Travel Summit will do just that in a unique, face-to-face setting for travel agents and the suppliers and destinations interested in their business."
In response to this dramatically shifting travel agent distribution channel, travAlliancemedia has teamed up with MSE Management, the leading international events marketing agency, to present the 2015 Agent@Home Travel Summit.
"Innovation has been at the heart of our business from the day we opened," said Mark Murphy, founder/CEO of travAlliancemedia. "We focus on solving problems and meeting the needs of an audience that is always evolving; in this case, the home based travel agent. We've been doing it since we launched Agent@Home magazine back in 2004 and feel it's time we bring the industry a conference that measures up to that name."
Murphy added, "TheAgent@Home Travel Summit will elevate the trade show and conference space to a new level, helping those who participate to grow their relationships and their businesses."
