The votes are in and we know the winners, but you'll have to wait a bit longer to find out just who they are! Voting for travAlliancemedia's inaugural 2014 Travvy Awards was completed this past week and the results have been tabulated. But the winners won't officially be unveiled until the Travvy Gala Awards Banquet on Thursday, Jan. 22, at the Marriott Marquis, starting with cocktails at 6 p.m.
In the meantime, we are notifying selected winners in advance so they have the opportunity to attend the gala dinner. Seats for the gala are $395 with tables of 10 at $3,500. For more information, click on Travvy Awards Gala Banquet.
The Travvy Awards were created to honor the best of the best in all categories of travel, including cruises, tours, hotels and resorts, travel agencies, travel insurance, car rentals, airlines and more. They also honor selected individuals in these categories for being the most innovative executives in the industry.
Travel agent readers of TravelPulse.com, Agent@Home and Vacation Agent were asked to vote based on a ballot of those companies, agencies and individuals who entered the contest. The only way to win was to enter. The votes of our readers were tabulated earlier this month and then reviewed by a committee of our editors and travel agent readers.
The Travvy Awards Gala Banquet, featuring the best of the best in the travel industry, also will take place the night before the trade day for the New York Times Travel Show.
