Allianz Travel Insurance’s New Content Capsule Gaining Traction
Travel insurance company Allianz Global Assistance has teamed up with content creation and distribution specialist NextWorks to develop a Content Capsule that will be included on popular blogger websites.
The travel blogging community is having an undeniable impact on the industry, and Allianz is looking to be on the cutting edge. The Allianz Travel Insurance Content Capsule is an embedded microsite, which includes videos, infographics, travel tips, share buttons and more about the company.

Allianz launched the embeddable microsite in August, and it has already hosted over 100,000 visitors. The company is working with Travel Trifecta, Network 360 and other brands associated with NextWorks to develop posts that discuss travel and the benefits of travel insurance.
With a recent CNN.com report saying that “92 percent of social media users are influenced by travel blogs,” there is no way around catering to this demographic.
Allianz Global Assistance Director of Communications Daniel Durazo released a statement, saying, “The Content Capsule has provided us with an engaging and creative way to reaching bloggers and their readers. The program has been a hit with bloggers because it provides a fun and entertaining way to engage their audience on the important topic of travel insurance.”
NextWorks Executive Vice President David Henry also released a statement, saying, “Allianz has been the perfect partner for this blogger activation program as they understand the need for audience engagement. They have been visionary in adopting this technology platform to communicate about travel insurance and we expect other insurance and travel suppliers to follow suit.”
