Thanks to Alexa, you can flirt with the notion of your next vacation without lifting so much as a finger.

Amazon’s hear-all, living room speaker now has the ability to answer your Kayak queries, doling out answers to your hard-hitting travel questions.

According to a press release, we now live in a wonderful world where you can toss out such gems such as “Alexa, ask Kayak to track a flight.”

You are no longer saddled with the frustration of having to look up that stuff on your phone, because we live in a world that embraces every measure of laziness with amazing technology.

It’s so beautiful we may just cry.

You can get more information on the innovation at Kayak’s website.

Essentially, you now have various options open to you through Amazon’s Echo device. This is the same device many of you have tucked away in the living room somewhere.

It’s this device that can give you weather, traffic and news updates with the mere shout of “Alexa” from across the room.

It’s the same device that allows you to play a Pandora or Spotify playlist without having to thumb through a phone.

And it’s that same device that makes travel queries that much easier, powering your next holiday with your very own voice.

The release states there are three specific ways you can interact with Alexa: Discover, Search and Track.

Rob Pulciani, Director, Amazon Alexa, offered his assessment of the collaboration:  "Alexa now has over 800 skills, and our customers are loving the convenience of having a wide-range of third party skills available to them. With KAYAK, Alexa can now offer helpful insights on flights, hotels and rental cars, all by just using your voice.”

The tracking is quite simple. You can get updates on flights you are particularly interested in hearing about, basically keeping tabs on relatives or friends you may have to pick up shortly from the airport.

The explore function lets you toss out hypothetical questions such as, “Alexa, where can I go for $500?”

You then get a list of places where you can take that lump sum and create an unforgettable experience.

As for search, you can do just that: Scour Kayak for things like hotels and flights throughout the world.

Now you can set your home airport to make things simpler. However, you will need to get on a desktop or mobile site to actually book your trip.

Just cross that line item off as your exercise for the day.
