As some have noted, 9.3 does have a Night Shift downside for those with older model iPhones.

However, there is one big incentive to get in on the latest from Apple if you happen to have an AT&T powered iPhone.
According to Engadget, the update features the ability to make International calls using its Wi-Fi feature.
Now being at a café or hotel with abundant Internet access means you can touch base with loved ones at home without worrying about exorbitant calling fees.

As the report states, the person you're calling must also have the Wi-Fi calling feature, which just goes to prove that it's extremely important to choose your friends wisely.
The other caveat is that the feature is available on the iPhone 6 or later models. This is a similar issue for anyone who wants to utilize the Night Shift feature added in the 9.3 rollout.
Sadly, you with older phones are being bullied into upgrading, but only if you value things like soft lighting for night reading or calling home for the low cost of Wi-Fi access.
